The present line-up of the band includes Lepage’s long-time collaborator and best man, shuffle-king Gil Dudgeon, drums; the versatile and highly sought after Scott Bell, bass; jazz maven Derek Frykas, saxophone and arrangements; the mighty tone of Ryan Aubry, trumpet and arrangements. Rounding out JP’s A team is veteran Ottawa bluesman,  Johnny Piano Russell, bringing the gumbo and boogie. Together the band represents an era when blues, jazz and rock & roll collide, delivering a sound largely missing in the current Canadian blues scene.
